Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funds for fiscal year 2024 for military construction, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and related agencies.

Highlights:

• Appropriates funding for military construction, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and related agencies for fiscal year 2024 (Title I, Sec. 1).

• Authorizes appropriations for the Department of Defense (DOD) military construction for the following, including (Title I, Sec. 1):

• The Army;

• The Navy and Marine Corps;

• The Air Force;

• Defense-wide agencies and activities;

• The Army and Air National Guard; and

• The Army, Navy, and Air Force Reserves.

• Specifies additional appropriations to DOD for the following, including, but not limited to (Title I, Sec. 1):

• The North Atlantice Treaty Organization (NATO) Security Investment Program;

• The Base Closure Account;

• Construction and Operation and Maintenance of Family Housing for the Army, the Navy and Marine Corps, the Air Force, and Defense-wide agencies and activities;

• The Family Housing Improvement Fund; and

• The Military Unaccompanied Housing Improvement Fund.

• Appropriates funding for the following administration within the VA budget, including (Title II, Sec. 123):

• The Veterans Benefits Adminstration;

• The Veterans Health Adminstration;

• The National Cemetary Adminstration; and

• Departmental Adminstration.

• Authorizes the following appropriations for related agencies and programs, including, but not limited to (Title III, Sec. 260):

• The American Battle Monuments Commission;

• The U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims;

• Cemeterial Expenses of the Army; and

• The Armed Forces Retirement Home.

• Specifies requirements and restrictions for using funds provided by this and other appropriations bills (Title III, Sec. 301).
